Celebrant Funerals in North Wales – a Meaningful Farewell

Celebrant Funerals in North Wales Bid farewell to your loved ones with meaningful celebrant funerals in North Wales. We have more than two decades’ experience in providing bespoke funerary services. We service clients across the Broughton area and beyond. Our bespoke services are both intensely personal and completely professional. We offer a comprehensive suite of services, right from helping with the paperwork, to choosing celebrant or clergy, selecting the music, flowers, readings and the venue. You can also rely on our team to assist with the burial or cremation, scattering of ashes and providing tokens of remembrance. If you wish to spend some quiet time alone with the dear one, you can make an appointment to do so at our Chapels of Rest.

Thus, in North Wales, celebrant funerals may not include references to a particular faith. This is the perfect choice for many who wish to honour their loved one’s personal beliefs. This event of remembrance is where you celebrate the freedom from organized religion or rigidly structured ceremonies. The host of the funeral is a celebrant who is a qualified individual with the experience to work with you and your family. As a result, you can create a unique event that is tailored to align with the beliefs, hopes, achievements, and personal traits of the deceased. People from different walks of life may choose to take up the profession of a celebrant. They could be members of the general public or clergy, hospice workers, counsellors, healthcare professionals or social workers.

With a larger number of people choosing not to identify with organised religion, celebrant funerals in North Wales are becoming more popular. The ceremony is constructed in exactly the way you want it to be. You can also include religious or spiritual elements if you wish. The aim is to celebrate the life that the departed person led in his or her lifetime. This makes the ceremony much more meaningful and memorable. Get in touch with John Knowles Funerals for more information on our services. Many celebrants are affiliated with certain organisations that profess humanist ideas, secular beliefs or a certain type of afterlife.

John Knowles and staff supported my family in the most professional and empathetic way during our recent bereavement. Jan at the Rossett office went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Guidance and suggestions were given to help us choose what was right for us. Then the staff at John Knowles handled everything seamlessly and with the utmost care, respect and professionalism. Nothing was too much trouble and any changes we wanted to make were happily welcomed by Jan. Jan recommended a Celebrant called Margaret Harrison to take our service - she was also excellent. I cannot thank Mr Knowles and his team enough for the level of service we received. Mr Knowles personally ensured my Mother-in-Law was supported on this difficult day. It was also nice to have two ladies from the company as bearers. I would highly recommend John Knowles and his staff.

My Dad passed away in 2017 and his ashes were sprinkled without me knowing. I needed closure and for me this was something that proved he was here and missed. The memorial gardens I tried had no capacity. I’d been out Roy Orbison was on the radio. One of my Dad’s favourite singers and we had seen the musical the weekend I got engaged. I drive by the Broughton branch and on this day I plucked up the courage to go in. I couldn’t have been treated with more care or respect by Sarah and John. I was even apologised to when John had to take a mobile call. They put me in touch with Flintshire memorials and I now have a tree in the memorial garden there. It was ready for 19/8/21 the 4th anniversary of losing my Dad. I now have closure, I’ll always miss my Dad but I have a beautiful & tranquil place to remember him. Considering John Knowles Funerals hadn’t arranged my Dad’s cremation, I was treated with so much care. This company is a gem up here and really wants to be part of the community they are in. It’s rare to find a company that acts like they do with no money changing hands. I just wish they had carried out my Dad’s arrangements. If you are looking for a funeral company that treats you like family John Knowles is the company to choose at what is a very difficult time.

We can’t thank you all enough. I’m lucky enough to know Sarah as a very caring compassionate friend so I felt so much better knowing my mum was in her safe keeping. Margaret was amazing and such a lovely lady and John made me laugh on the day which helped so much as I was far from ok. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts x
